The Chicago Riverwalk provides access along the river where it is easy to take a stroll and look up and around at all of the skyscrapers along the river front. As I was taking photos one night of one of the new(er) skyscrapers downtown, the Trump Tower, I noticed how the Riverwalk sign was serving as a nice frame for the Wrigley buildings in the distance.
This is an HDR shot and I used a post processing filter along the bottom half of the image to bring out the texture on the sidewalk. I think it turned out nice. Off to shoot the Santa Monica Pier next week – hoping to have some nice shots when I get back.
