An early morning shot of the Vietnam Wall in Washington DC. This was my first morning in DC and the only morning we actually had sun – the other mornings we got rain and clouds. Feeling each name engraved on the wall is numbing. I tried to show the sheer scale/length of the memorial by getting down in one of the corners of the monument and shooting the length. There is a whole section of the wall behind me of equal size with an equal amount of names.
