Everyone seems to see the new year as a time for change. I never really understood the point in ‘waiting’ to make changes that you want to make for a certain date – we waste alot of time ‘waiting’ and alot of people procrastinate in the face of change. Resolutions seem to lead to procrastinating so why wait to make change – instead seize the day and use your time wisely. There is no better time than the present (especially considering it’s the New Year) to set a list of goals and changes for the year to accomplish.
“It is never too late or too soon. It is when it is supposed to be….You marked the minutes, but did you use them wisely? To be still? To cherish? To be grateful? To lift and be lifted?”
– Mitch Albom, The Time Keeper
Photo of the Day – Grand Tetons
From my first trip out west in 2006 – I woke early one morning to shoot pictures of the mountains in Grand Teton National Park. I was using my little point and shoot then (maybe 4 megapixels) but I’m still happy with the way the shoot turned out.
